Samsung Epic 4G - second smartphone Sprint with 4G

Samsung Company and mobile operator Sprint presented new smartphone Samsung Epic 4G

As it is known from the smartphone name, it can function in the fourth generation nets (WiMAX). Besides, the novelty supports CDMA EV-DO Rev. A. nets.

The Samsung Epic 4G is equipped with 4 inches sensor Super AMOLED display, 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash and video recording with 720 pixels, VGA camera for video calls, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, accelerometer, processor Hummingbird with 1 GH and sliding QWERTY keypad.

The smartphone Samsung Epic 4G functions under customized by Samsung operational system Android 2.1. This is why the device has such functions as Social Hub and DLNA support.

Thus Samsung Epic 4G will become the second smartphne in Spring portfolio which can function in 4G nets. We should remind that the first gadget of this kind was called HTC EVO 4G.
