Philips M200 review – slow "music phone"

Mobile phone Philips M200 is a very interesting solution. It is the most accessible music phone from all the ones represented at the market.

According to the small price of the budget phone the user will get a not too bad functional solution. Of course the compromise is inevitable and this is why the owner will have to put up with some drawbacks. The phone Philips M200 comes in the set with the following: battery of 1050 mAc, user’s manual, interface cable mini USB – USB, charging unit.

The Philips M200 appearance is close to the older musical model Philips M600. But this is a plus for Philips M200: the younger model almost exactly copies Philips M600 by its design and dimensions so the user has the temptation to get the phone which looks exactly the same but is much cheaper.

Philips M200 is a black monoblock. The corpus is made of plastic, the keypad has shiny surface.

In this model the users can find a usual navigational block: usual 4-position navigation button with the OK button in the middle.

The navigation button is very comfortable due to the fact that it is placed bit lower. The soft buttons are easy to use.

The display is a budget CSTN matrix with small diagonal (1,8 inches) and low resolution (128x160).

Built in player according to the developers thoughts was supposed to become the main killer application of the phone.

Regardless of all the drawbacks Philips M200 is a good choice who want to have music and not pay too much for it. This is the most accessible device from all presented on the market. Regardless the small price which is usually characteristic of the simplest phones, Philips M200 user receives a rather functional set – MP3 player, radio, memory enlargement with the help of microSD cards and so on.
