LG TD636 Review

The majority of the mobile services users know LG Company for its designer's masterpiece "Chocolate". But it turns out that besides premium phone this producer has also good budget phones. One of them is the new CDMA LG TD636 which cannot surprise its users by anything besides voice mail. But for some people this equipment is an absolute advantage. Since for the people who use the phone for its direct purposes that are to make phone calls, the main reasons for choosing a phone are the talk time without charging and the connection quality. All the above mentioned is of a very high quality in LG TD636. It was surprising that the net indicator showed almost complete lack of connection while the connection was rather satisfactory. The working time is also a plus: 4-5 days with little talk time and 3-4 days with medium talk time which is not usual for every phone. Although the producer announced that the phone can hold 3 hours talk time, actually this number is much higher.

LG TD636 works in CDMA nets with the 800 Mh and supports CDMA 2000 1x standard. This is not 3G connection of course but enough for the Dial-Up connection.

Any phone even from the Premium line would be jealous of such a body phone. For a budget phone LG TD636 body is very surprising as it can serve as an example for other phones. It is easy to press the buttons with the thumb of the hand holding the phone. LG TD636 fits well into the palm and does not fall off. The dimensions of the phone are 104x47x17. Even if the coloring is going to come off, it is not going to happen in the first months of its usage.

LG TD636is not bad at all. Its resolution is 128x128 reflecting 65 000 colors.

The sound is of a very high quality. This is due to two loud speakers one of which is placed above the display and is used for the interlocutor voice reproduction. The second one is placed on the back panel and reflects all loud sounds.

The phone supports 32 voice polyphony reproductions. The vibro is moderate as the vibration power is high and you almost cannot hear the work of the motor.

The only problem with LG TD636 is constant sound messages and the inability to turn them off almost makes you want to throw away the phone. Also it is impossible to download your melody for the SMS sound so you have to use the ones stored in LG TD636. The buttons are very comfortable as they have some distance between them. But the small letters on the buttons make SMS texting rather uncomfortable since you need to look carefully for the letters.

During the testing the impressions changed from the most negative to positive. It all depends on your attitude to the phone. If you are using it just for the phone calls, it is perfect but for more complicated functions you might want to choose another phone.
