Acer is going to present its first mobile in February

The Acer Company is known due to its computers and notebooks that lately are in high demand. Now Acer is preparing for release its first mobile phone.

In September Acer managed to purchase the company E-Ten Information Systems known for its Glofiish line. Regardless of different fears connected with the purchase of such a known brand, Acer decided not to change anything. This way mobile phones that will be produced by Acer will be developed by the same people from E-Ten and the name Glofiish will remain. The directors decided not to postpone the release of the first mobile and the information appeared that in February at the WMC 2009 the communicator Glofiish X960 will be demonstrated. There is no technical information about this Glofiish X960 for now. It is only known that Windows Mobile will be used as the operational system.
