E-Ten Glofiish X610 Review

Glofiish x610 was called a logical continuation of the Glofiish x600 Communicator. The base remained the same, there are some changes in the software. The tested communicator has abroad the renewed operational system – Windows Mobile professional 6.1. The corpus is mostly copied from the preceding Glofiish model. The front panel presents Touch-plastic and does not have corners – this is what was officially mentioned about the phone.

It is a simple representative of the communicator class with many functions "all in one" built on the platform with 400 MH processor and QVGA (320x480) display. Glofiish has all the communication modules, is equipped with GPS receiver and FM radio.

The tested device E-Ten X610 has almost the same dimensions. They are 107x58x15 with the weight 132 grams.

The communicator is built on the basis of Samsunf Sc32442 processor with 400 Mh and has a standard operational memory of 64 Mb and 128 ROM memory for different additional functions. The operational memory is enough for most tasks and programs this is why the software does not produce any problems. In short the operational memory is enough for Windows Mobile 6.1 and display with QVGA resolution.

Glofiish x610 works based on Windows Mobile Profesisonal 6.1.

Glofiish communicators have an utility that allows working with wireless devices - Wireless Manager 2.0. In reality it just activates the module or moves to default program from Windows that operates the connection module.

Gloofiish possesses Bluetooth 2,0 but does not have EDR profile support. But in general it is easy to transfer files, store the information from other devices memory, use distant modems and be in the role of a modem.

The device possesses 2 MP camera. The camera interface is very useful- it is possible to work without stylus since the setting icons are rather large.

The phone function quality is rather high. The two people talking can hear each other without additional noise. The microphone is also good – the speech is clear. The melodies sound is higher than average and they can be easily heard in the noisy street. The same thing cannot be said about vibro – it is average.

E-Ten Glofiish X610 has already appeared on the market and is $100-150 more expensive than the preceding phone. For those buying Glofiish x610 it is a multifunctional device for a reasonable price.

The company quickly produced new phone as it tried to catch up with HTC.

I am not happy buying this piece because i have problems with calls since voice is not clear and as well there is a lot of disturbance. It was not pleasant talking over an important conversation. Please dont buy this phone... you will stay happy with what you have.
