A SIM card stores all the necessary data of the mobile phone: SMSs, MMSs, contacts etc. This makes this card a bank for your phone, without it you will not be able to make calls, receive calls communicate via SMS. It is the main module of the phone, thus we can compare it with the computer's CPU, and it is the heart and the brain of a mobile phone.

This tiny chip that we call a SIM card is actually a microprocessor that stores all the information and data of the mobile phone. The SIM card's main characteristic is its telephone number as one card has a unique intrinsic telephone number. This is how you get the call and not your neighbor when people want to talk to you. When you take the SIM card out of your phone, the second one cannot be used as a phone. And of course changing the SIM card will change your phone number.
