Samsung Galaxy S received Wi-Fi Direct support

Samsung Galaxy S became the first world smartphone with certified Wi-Fi Alliance and Wi-Fi Direct support.

The latter means that the smartphone can exchange content with all devices containing Wi-Fi module. This is Bluetooth alternative technology and differs from it with a much higher speed of data transfer. The new function can be added to the smartphone during the nearest renewal.
