50 thousand Palm Pre smartphones were sold

In the first weekend Palm Company and Sprint operator sold 50 000 Palm Pre  phones.

The analytic Michael Walkley from piper Jaffray consulting company called the first sales of the new smartphone stable.  In his turn Paul Coster underlines that most Spring stores sold all the storage of Palm Pre. In other words all available smartphones are sold.

 

All the reporters tell about one thing: for the first day of sales the shots did not get sufficient number of phones. For example, flagman store Sprint in Manhattan got only 200 pieces for sales and the Best Buy stores situated in New York central street had from 40 to 80 Palm Pre pieces.

 

 

It should be noted that Palm Company did not approve of the sales. Just for comparison: in the first weekend iPhone 3G sales of the AT&T operator and Apple Company sold about 1 million of Apple phones.
