Meizu M9 based on Android 2.1 will appear on August 18

The Chinese sources tell that one of the most expected phones on the national market Meizu M9 will be released at the end of summer. The model following very successful clone Apple iPhone, Meizu M8, will be based on Android 2.1 and will have good characteristics since it will be positioned as iPhone HD replacement in China.

Meizu M9 will offer its users HDMI input, HD movies support, which will be provided by 1 GH processor Samsung S5PC110, 512 MB Ram and ROM, 5 mega pixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS. The content will be saved on microSDHC.

In Chinese sales Meizu M9 will appear on August 18, a year and a half after M8 release. The buyers can choose from two versions - Meizu M9w (WCDMA support) and Meizu M9t (TD-SCDMA). Meizu M9 price with garniture and 8 GB memory card is going to be $365, without the accessories - $325.
