The LG will release the Android 4.0 for LG Optimus 2X and other devices
The LG is one of the few companies that did not share its smart phone on Ice Cream Sandwich innovation strategy. After a shock caused by the news that the LG Optimus 2X will not be equipped with the Android 4.0, many LG owners expressed their disappointment and promised not to buy anymore LG devices.

But it looks like, that the Korean producer is taking into account the opinions of its customers, for recently there was published an official announcement that states that the LG Optimus 2X devices are going to be equipped with the Ice Cream Sandwich. Moreover the company confirmed that other smart phones as Optimus 3D and Optimus Black and probably other models well be on the Android 4.0. Unfortunately the news does not state anything about the lower level devices.
The news was published on the official Facebook profile of the LG. Even though the company did not give any exact details about the dates of the release of the innovation, its customers should not expect for the them till the end of the current year. The Optimus 3D owners are still using the Android 2.2 Froyo while waiting for the Gingerbread innovation. Since the company needed a year for the Gingerbread innovation on such a powerful device, it is curious to see how much time the company will need for the Ice Cream Sandwich innovation.
