Motorola cheap phones

Motorola is going to produce cheap phones.

The Motorola Company won the con tract for the cheap phones release for the developing countries.

As it is expected the stock price for the device is not going to be more than 30 dollars.

The American company will produce about 6 million cheap phones for release in 17 countries including Bangladesh, India, Kenya, Nigeria. The mobile connections operators are not happy with the fact that in many countries the users cannot afford to use mobile connection because of the mobile phones high price.

The cheap mobile phones sales in developing countries began at the beginning of 2006. These phones will be equipped with more powerful batteries with longer talk time as in developing countries electricity is not always available.

Motorola holds a fierce battle with the Finnish Company Nokia for the cheap phones market.

The mobile phone producing and mobile connection companies representatives announce, that the main obstacle on the way of the quick development of mobile communications is the high tax for the mobile devices import that the companies compensate while selling the phones.

For example in Turkey the buyer pays about 45 % more than the actual phone price.
