The more advanced mobile phone you have, the more annoyance it can cause. Such a conclusion can be made after the CMO Council research, done in the end of 2007 and partially sponsored by Palm.
A survey involving nearly 15,000 mobile phone owners from 37 countries revealed that among all the complaints, the number one problem was "too many functions I did not usein my mobile phone".
After buying a hi-end mobile phone, customers often discover: there are too many features they don't use, or don't know how to use. It often upsets and irritates them. Sometimes even retailers, who sell mobile phones, are not able to explain how to use one or another function to their customers.
Experts say, mobile industry should pay more attention to improvement of user experience. Some customers are now interested only in limited functionality. New optimized models of phones could be developed, and their menus can be made more understandable to ordinary users.
So, if you are going to buy a new phone, maybe you should think carefully: do you really need all these features?
