Apple presented new iPhone 3G

The Apple company director Steve Jobs presented new iPhone 3G model. The new "apple" supports the third generation nets and is oriented by the satellite due to the Assisted GPS technology. The phone design is changed a little bit: the corners are more rounded. The size and display resolution remained the same. The new iPhone 3G weights 2 grams less.

The autonomous work time is up to 300 hours in the stand by regime. According to Jobs this is one of the best results for this class device. The audio player work time is 24 hours, video – 7 hours, web surfing – up to 6 hours.

At the San Francisco presentation the new differences of the new iPhone 3G from other models and other smart phones were demonstrated. The page download speed is twice faster compared to old models. Compared to Noku N95 it is 36% faster. The built in module of the satellite navigation supports the Assisted GPS technology. It identifies the phone placement even with a light satellite signal. On July 11th the first phone sales in 22 countries will begin then next 48 countries will join. In a couple of months iPhone 3G will capture the markets of 70 countries.

• Price – 8Gb $199, 16 Gb $299.

The novelty iPhone 3G will appear in the stores on July 11th.

depends on your country and what contracts what companies entered into, in USA apple and at&t have a 3 year contract, so 2 years from now you can buy 1 in the USA.

The way I figure it, by the time it is available for me to get, T-mobile MAY have 3G in Houston, and the iPhone may actually work decently as a phone.

I don't hold my breath for either.
