At the Mobile World Congress 2008 the Nokia Company presented a new multimedia smartphone Nokia N96. According to the company representative Jonas Ghest the new mobile Nokia N96 is destined for video watching and work with the mobile television which slowly becomes popular in the entire world.
The technical features of the device Nokia N96 working on the S60 platform 3rd edition are very impressive. The work in the WCDMA, HSDPA/EGSM and GSM nets, TV tuner DVB-H Class with 470-750 Mega hertz, 256 Mb OZU, 16 Gb installed flesh memory, 2,8 inches display, two cameras (5 mega pixel with the optics Carl Zeiss and additional one for video calls with resolution 640x480) and other extremely helpful functions of Nokia N96. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2Dp+EDR are required. The model Nokia N96 uses the battery for 950 Mac which allows the device Nokia N96 to work about 200 hours and requires 5 hours video or TV watching and up to 14 hours audio listening.
The new "ruler" of the multimedia Finnish mobile world will appear on sale in the second half of 2008. Nokia N96 approximate cost is going to be about $800.
